NFL Thread - 2020

Couldn’t get it down here in NC. I should probably learn how to use a VPN, not sure if that would have helped though.
Here was the coverage map.
DirectTV called the shots on this one..

Buffalo looks better than Pittsburgh right now. I don’t want to hear Covid excuses as a reason. The Steelers line is not good. There’s an argument to be made the Steelers might be the fourth best team in the conference right now.

The Steelers have allowed the fewest sacks of any team in the NFL. Ben has been sacked ten times. In comparison the Saints have allowed 21 sacks. Ben def gets the ball out quickly but so do a lot of guys including Brees. If Ben had a poor O-Line he'd be getting sacked a lot more than .8 times per game particularly given how much they throw the ball. Their O-Line is very good at pass protection but not good in the run game. You wanna see a bad O-Line watch Chicago or Philly. Jail break on almost every play. Both teams are using guys that don't belong in the NFL.

Are you changing your Pennsylvania allegiances this year with the Eagles being this poor?

No allegiance toward Pittsburgh. Just think the facts argue against the notion they have a poor offensive line. I'd say Buffalo is my second favorite team. I'd like to see them go deep in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind seeing your squad go down in flames. I always enjoy watching your cocky coach take an excruciating L. ;)

Dallas LBers have cement shoes.
They need speed in the LB core big time.
Their LBs can hit but they can’t keep gaps and run.

Whom ever the top LBs are in this draft if they can’t get the OL from Oregon I would trade down and rebuild the LB core.

Jaylon Smith has lost a step this year but the scheme & interior DLine are far bigger problems in the front 7.

LVE is just guessing half the time.

Joe Buck with the mother of all jinxes.
Aikman and Buck are a good announce crew but every time they do a Dallas game they both are rooting for the Boys to win.
It’s almost like Jerry promises them a bag for every game they announce and Dallas wins.
Buck’s voice pops a little extra when something good happens for Dallas.

You’re nuts or you haven’t listened to them trash the Dallas D (rightfully so).

Aikman has been one of the louder voices pointing out how the organization’s structure undercuts every head coach.

I am not saying they are homers.
I am saying they are rooting for Dallas.
Aikman cares about the team.
He calls out the bad but I am just giving my opinion.
I will say Jim Nantz before Mahomes
Always rooted for the Patriots in big games.
His bosses and Kraft are tight and he is a company guy.

Buck and Aikman want Dallas to be good.

That’s fair. And I agree with you about Nantz & your Pats.

How in the ffffff are you an NFL HC and allow a delay of game in that situation?

3 timeouts, scoring situation.

McCarthy yelling on the sideline. YOU’RE the damn HC, KNOW the situation.

Unreal.

I couldn’t understand his anger after refusing to use a TO.

He looked like someone with Tourette’s.

I was even more befuddled by his anger... Who you mad at Mike? Yourself?

Enjoy this extra TO’s at half. Bum.

if he doesn’t use them now and try to drive, I’ll just laugh.

I said the same thing to my wife, “Is he yelling at himself for not calling a TO!?! Who the hell is he yelling at!?”
