1. No player Will tank and purposely put bad play on film.

2. 1/3 of these guys wont be on the team the following season and dont give 2 shits about the draft.

3. Some are in contract years and need to play well for their own future.

And most, if not all, just dont have the make up to tank.

Agreed. It’ll come down to how well Hurts handles the Washington DL pressure.

I think the biggest key will be the Philly injury report re the defense. If they're without 5-6 starters again including Cox and Barnett then it's going to be tough. Big chunks of this game they had dudes named Jacquet, Ford and Arnold running around in the secondary. The other key part is whether Alex Smith is back for the WFT.

51 pass attempts and 20 rushing attempts against the worst run defense (by a mile) in the NFL. Pederson has had a horrible year. Goes for it on 4th and 15 i/o kicking a 50 yard FG with 14 min left in the 4Q. I'm not so sure about Hurts. Good athlete, tough kid, impressive runner but below average arm strength and accuracy.

I was in shock they gave up on the run.. then not taking the FG... I mean a lot of what the hell are you doing stuff in this one and hey thanks a lot as a cowboys fan. Also as soon as Mills came in the pass D tightened up. Waiting 3 quarters to make that change is another fail.

I hear you on Hurts but Dak had some serious Accuracy concerns his rookie year too. Not sure you stick with Carson given how bad he has been especially at the risk you lose the chance to see if Hurts really has the chops and improves.

Agree about the Iggs D if they’re missing the same DL who were out this week.

If Alex Smith plays the D Philly had tonight then the Skins win the division.

If Smith is out then Hurts handling the pressure could tip the balance in Philly’s favor.

Agree and your assessment of Hurts handling WFT's defensive pressure is critical too. The Philly OL has to be one of the 2 or 3 worst OLs in football. That is a mismatch for sure as the WFT DL is no joke.

Missed the target, hit the tree. There is no suggestion or accusation of tanking in what I wrote. Rather with winning games now, they're actually lowering their draft position by not tanking.

And the team has been run by idiots - the Johnsons - for 20 odd years.

Dolphins are going to get the 3rd pick in this draft off winning 10 or 11 games. Pretty impressive.

They will have a choice of Zach Wilson, Justin Fields or Penei Sewell.

Tua is a project. Kid is accurate but doesn’t have an elite arm and has been captain check down.

The NFC comes down matchups.
I think if Tampa avoids New Orleans they will be scary.

If the Rams had Ryan Fitzpatrick over Jared Goff they would be really scary.
Rams D is the best all-around D in the NFC.

Buffalo shouldn’t tank next week unless they lose tomorrow and I pray they win tomorrow.

Pittsburgh had a nice comeback they really don’t scare me their offense looks really easy to defend.

Jets should have 5-6 wins this year. They aren’t as bad their record. They could have beaten Buffalo, New England and Las Vegas at home.

Just BOTE calculations here, but if the NYG beat Dallas, and the Eagles beat WFT, New York/Dallas/Washington all finish 6-10. At that point, Dallas and WFT are 2-2 head-to-head, while the Giants are 3-1 and would take the division. If WFT wins, they are division champs. If WFT loses and Dallas beats the Giants, Dallas wins the East.
