Another gem was when he referred to Jacquet - a guy who made his first start last week and was on the practice squad for most of the year - and said "I know he's been your guy all year but you need to replace him.." Vilma sounded like he hadn't even prepared for the game.

Yeah generally speaking I think QBs tend to be the best color analysts cuz they usually have more extensive knowledge of the game.

Missed the target, hit the tree. There is no suggestion or accusation of tanking in what I wrote. Rather with winning games now, they're actually lowering their draft position by not tanking.

And the team has been run by idiots - the Johnsons - for 20 odd years.

Look what happened to Brady after Belichick drafted Garrapolo in 2013.
It drove Brady insane and he improved the next 3 years he won 2 SBs and an MVP.

Packers kinda did that to Rodgers.
Drafting the QB in the first round has driven him to a MVP season.

It probably was a dumb draft pick but if made Rodgers better than worth it.

Makes no sense. The GB/Chicago match-up is a game that matters to both teams. It's one of the better rivalries in the NFL and it involves much better teams than PHL/WASH plus you have ARod to boot.

You can’t put GB-Chicago on SNF.
If LA beat Arizona earlier then Chicago is in the playoffs and they wouldn’t be motivated to try and beat GB.
intergrity of playoff seeding requires NO/GB/Sea all play at the same time so each is fully motivated to play and win.

Philly-Washington on SNF was the obvious selection because Washington has to win and they are in.
It doesn’t matter who wins Dallas-NYG both will play to win but neither is in without Washington losing.

Thus put Washington win and you are in the SNF slot. They can’t back there way into the playoffs. If the Football teams loses they are out.
Thus LA-Arizona and GB-Chicago have to be played at the same time.

AFC is a mess.
NFC.
LA-Arizona
Chicago-GB
LA wins they are in.
Arizona wins they are in.
Chicago wins they are in.
Chicago loses they need LA to beat Arizona.
LA gets in with a Chicago loss.
Chicago wins and Arizona wins only way LA is out.

GB beats Chicago they are 1 seed.
Chicago beats GB
Then NO and Seattle can be 1 seed.
Seattle would get 1 seed if NO and Gb lose.
NO would get 1 seed if GB loses and Sea wins.

If GB, NO, Sea all win then 1. GB 2. NO 3. Sea

Washington beats Philly they are 4 seed.
If Philly beats Washington then NYG-Dallas winner is in.

AFC I am not going to bother.
