NFL Thread - 2020

Think the Colts dropping a million passes and Rivers slightly overthrowing the one should-be TD were clearly the main reasons they lost. The play calls in the red zone were a mess though.

The only reason the Bills defense got a stop up until that last drive was because the Colts dropped wide open passes.

Bills receivers did their part missing some Allen fastballs.

I laid the -8.5 with TB I bet this line goes up to to 10 off this news.

Seattle KOing a starting QB in the playoffs. Sounds familiar.

NFL guys being NFL guys.. blow up players for no reason as long as its not your QB getting blown up.

Wash can win the DLine plays lights out.. but i dont know how they score

Wolford just got his bell rung. Ouch... hope it isn’t as bad as it looked.

Fertitta told the Rockets GM to do whatever he could to duck the luxury tax rather than going all in to try to win the title the last couple years and it pissed a lot of the players off.

He’s a douche... he’s a crappy Mark Cuban wanna be .. the type of dude who would be wearing Ed Hardy

I don't know about his abilities as an owner but in business what he's accomplished puts Cuban to shame.

We’re not talking about his business acumen here... but he’s hurting with his businesses in the travel and restaurant fields

He was fine. Missed FG and Rivers missed the throw on fourth down. I liked the calls.

As usual with coach decisions, the most egregious mistakes don't get talked about.
Burning a 2nd half time out to avoid a delay of game on 1st&10 & challenging the Moss non-fumble were absolutely terrible. Thanks Frank!

have it teased to TB -2 with SEA/LAR under 48.5 and Buffalo -1 (1 down, 2 to go).

That challenge was absurd.

I do agree with the other poster that the 4th down play was a good call. Rivers just missed the throw by a few inches. I also don’t have a problem with his decision to go for 2 which a lot of people freaked out about in the moment.

Yeah I don't know who on his staff called for that challenge or if it was Frank himself, but that was horrendous.

Just responding to your wannabe Mark Cuban comment. Cuban got lucky and snookered somebody during the dot.com craze. Fertitta has built up a monster restaurant/casino/hospitality empire that he owns 100%. I'm very familiar with that empire because my employer is heavily invested in his debt securities. Sure times are tough but there is little doubt in my mind he'll come through it just fine.

I’d also add as a knock against him/Rivers, What was up with huddling while the clock was running at the end there? They very well may have cost themselves the chance to get into FG territory for OT.
