The team has a lot of celebrity fans 35 and over who grew up in the tri-state area and followed the team during its heyday. I think that we can get them to the Dome if we get back to relevancy. We used to be New York's team and took over the Garden when we played St. John's and during the Big East Tournament. I understand why we went to the ACC but that was the start of our downfall. I'm reminiscing and rambling out of context to the topic. Therapy.

2011-2012 game against St John’s at MSG was a Knicks/Rangers like home game for us when those teams are good.

I don't know other than what I have been told which is that he was told do it Kents way or the highway. supposedly Kent wouldn't meet or have a discussion with him. It's all on this site you can do some digging and find it.

I refuse to believe that anyone, including Kent, will have a tough time with famous people being at the Dome. Now, I don't know Kent and will be glad when he is gone. But it would be worth my effort to have Kent, JW and AH talk and work something out. If what was better for the University was on the agenda.

Are we 100% sure that’s true? That appears to be coming from AW only. I’m a firm believer there’s always 3 sides of a story. The two participants in the conflict and the truth.

There will be celebs at almost every game next year with Melo and Lala. If anyone cares. I don’t but melo will have lots of nba friends in the crowd often and lala is bringing Kardashian clan to numerous games I was told. Again I don’t care but it will be a “hype machine” as the young kids say.

Good lord, that’s exactly what’s need to fix this program.

If he doesn't want to donate to Nil because his pal rightfully lost his job, just say that. Don't claim it is something other than that. He is playing the victim. I believe with my contacts, I could fix this. But he didn't even take my call after saying on this very board that here is my phone number, give me a call. I'll talk to anyone about it. And Kent was too soft on JB. They had a deal in place after his second probation and when Hopkins left, they should have just moved on then. By this time, we would have found out what we needed about Red and either had a coach or moved on to the next one.

Was thinking about this more, mainly the timing with AW. Next year's team is going to be so different from usual.

AW and his private jets and exotic cars a few years ago might've been impressive to new guys, but not so much any more. He had all all his toys and money but now just looks like an old dude trying to hang out and be cool.

Think about this year, Kiyan is prob like no thanks old man I have my own businesses, family jets and cars and really don't want to look like a fool on your social media. Same for alot of the guys that can now get paid in High School and will make plenty their freshman year.

And that’s what concerns me. Of course this is a great opportunity that if things go well we all probably forget about the last decade, but if we have more games like this year with the double digit blowouts that very unfortunately could become a national story. Just see Stephen A Smith video from November comparing the Anthony’s to the James family.

Yeah it didn't work for USC and bronny James. Enfield jumped ship after that experience.

Unrelated item regarding NIL, but didn't want to start a new thread, and assume somebody can knock of my question pretty quickly so it doesn't disturb the thread.

Question - Since Jesse Edwards was an international player how was he able to collect NIL. Had always heard there was some NIL restrictions on internationals. Or is that no longer a thing / or had Jesse established some sort of status here because # of years.
