yeah, and he said that he would talk to anyone about this and I called him not once but twice and he didn't return or take my calls. His privilege of course but don't claim you are willing to talk when you aren't.

I found him to be easy to reach but that was over a year ago. I think it's easy to read between the lines. JB was forced out. JB and Kent are not pals. Connect the dots.

If he doesn't want to donate to Nil because his pal rightfully lost his job, just say that. Don't claim it is something other than that. He is playing the victim. I believe with my contacts, I could fix this. But he didn't even take my call after saying on this very board that here is my phone number, give me a call. I'll talk to anyone about it. And Kent was too soft on JB. They had a deal in place after his second probation and when Hopkins left, they should have just moved on then. By this time, we would have found out what we needed about Red and either had a coach or moved on to the next one.

I don’t know him or even have to like him as a person, but I did like his open wallet! And if we still had that maybe we wouldn’t have had to bring in guys from let’s say Hofstra and Delaware…..
Well you found his Facebook post, bought his PR and posted it here quickly. Interestingly enough you don’t mention us blowing our NIL load on Lampkin.

3 of my last 4 posts have been about Eddie making 800k and not in a positive way. I’m on a train back home from the Knicks/Kings game with my upstate buddy who showed me the post. He’s a season ticket holder and also an NIL contributor because he owns a sports bar in the capital region. And on a side note we went to the game in hopes of seeing a “local to us” boy Huerter play but he only got 8 minutes. Seems to be stuck on the bench in Sac Town

When all was said and done, it seemed there was a lot said and not a lot done. Some, for sure. But not a lot.

He needs to get traded. He’s fallen out of the rotation. Davis isn’t a problem. He was expected to be a bench player. Donnie getting injured changed that. Real curious what Clemson got Lakhin and Zackery for. Probably could have signed two solid players for the price of one out of shape center.

I'm with you 100% on this. Let me see if I can get some information for you next week when I'm back in town.

Coincidentally I was talking to a guy tonight who told me about an event he produced with Sam Bankman Fried where Brady was there because of his “investment” with that criminal fraud.

Adam, they’re not your friends. They hang with you because you pay them.

I do think he wants to support players via NIL. He is on record saying that.
Why don't you just say that you want him to do it only through the existing collectives vs independently. Maybe he wants the publicity generated by paying a player for name image and likeness. Maybe he wants them to support his businesses such as his restaurants. Maybe he wants them to support the many charities he donates to? Maybe he wants to decide how and why he enters into a contract with a player? As far as I'm concerned as long as he does so within the guidelines why shouldn't he be allowed to do so? So don't assume you know what his reasons are. At the end of the day the onus isn't on Adam to do anything other than what he wants to do as long as he doesn't break any rules.

Lampkin is the least of our issues. It’s obnoxious the way you and others continue to trash him. He had 23 rebounds today! Stop blaming him or the NIL we spent on him. We need to improve our NIL so we can afford more than one or two expensive players. Red and the staff are doing a poor job coaching defense overall. We have a hodgepodge philosophy and it’s not working. Eddie shouldn’t be way out on the perimeter guarding big men who can’t shoot.

Even bad teams have productive players because someone has to pay. He’s not worth it. You can argue this forever. There’s a reason we had the same amount of second chance points as Pitt despite dominating the glass. Lampkin got a lot of his own misses and missed again.

Lampkin missed 5 shots.

I think he really misses us too. He liked the attention and now he’s an after thought.

Why don't I say that I only want him to do it through the existing collectives? I don't have a say in it and quite frankly, I don't care. This has nothing to do with me. It's what the coaches and the school want and need. It's about what is best for the school and the program. Not any one individual.
