Welcome to the ACC...the big city is too scary. They are comfortable in their comfort zone. MSG ain't happening. They don't want big time. They wan't freaking Greensborogh, or however you spell that jerkwater town. They don't want to compete with the SEC and B10, they want North Freaking Carolina to be the hub of the college athletics world.

The ACC has played tournaments in Brooklyn. Last night was in Washington, DC.

They literally cannot play them at MSG because the Big East has a contract to be there at the same time the ACC plays their tournament.

I miss how much fun the old Big East tourney was. SU was great, and I was 20 years younger.

Having the tournament in DC is fine. It actually makes a lot of sense. Greensboro is another story...

MSG is where it's at. But, this conference will never have a presence there. They are too tied with the dirty south to ever embrace NYC.

You can always hang the Civil War banner over those dirty degenerates.
