very disappointed with our play second half. bad doggy!!

I'm not. We won't see that kind of officiating in the tournament. Won't see it in the ACC either.

Marquette is just a pain to play. Dickey was right about one thing; not many teams in America play as hard as Marquette does.

Continues our knack for failing to impress in big games...even when we win.

Syracuses first loss will come against Marquette... NOT!!!!

Most pleasing stat 17-23 free throws. :D

We just shot poorly in the second half and they were knocking down some tough shots. It happens. Refs gave them some help and they made some tough shots as well.

Our second half lowered are FG percentage to 39%. You want to be more around 50 on average atleast.

I feel good that we actually got a win after that massive comeback, but I know what you mean. I think it is something JB can use as a heck of a reminder this season though, because an experience sticks with a player better than simple logic. I too was hoping for a 30 point win at halftime, but I think this outcome will be more useful for the team in the future.

We do struggle against these "in your shorts" teams. Marquette has about 1/5th the talent we do and gave us all we wanted.

KJo, Triche and Scoop got very soft when the going got tough for a while there in the 2nd half. We needed Waiters and CJ to keep us floating.

This is a game last season we would have lost. Yes we lost the lead but we also gained some toughness, and in my opinion began the process of figuring out in a tight game, who we go to for a big basket.

If CJ had made a few more gimmes it wouldnt have gotten that close. He was pretty average today on the offensive end.

It's a feel good win for me. We're going to have close games. The great SU teams figure out ways to win the close ones. We need to have that experience. So we were a little flat today and were still able to beat the #20 team in a game where the cream rose to the top at the end. I'm OK with that

CJ left at least 6 points on the court via missed bunnies.

cj's a good role player but shouldn't be our #1 scoring option. when he leads the team in shots taken...look out.

6! more like 12-14! He had at least 6 missed layups (got bailed out by a couple foul calls).

Absolutely...23 point leads are a good thing...

A win is a win is a... WIN! In the end they persevered and did what needed to be done. Waiters is one hell of a player and has an insane winners killer instinct. The block and layup was a difinitive moment in the game and once that happened I knew that all would end well.

You miss my point. Not happy that we blew the lead. I am happy that we were able to hold our composure when many teams would have folded completely. Three Top 10 teams lost today, two of them to unranked foes and another to a team ranked behind Marquette. Every game is not going to be a blowout win for us.
