the quad system is wacky...never liked it. Hopefully they can indeed see the forest for the trees...especially this year.

I'm sure I'm the only person in America who feels this way but I actually miss the RPI for some reason. I liked following the fluctuation of it after wins and losses.

i much prefer rpi...so theres at least 2 of us. gotta be more.

The quad is based on the Net and the Net is skewed because such limited schedules this yr.. really after the committee goes thru its work it only has like 5-10 teams to review and you can go through those schedules pretty easily to see how those teams played and what the yr went like.

once all the teams are in then you seed.. Basing anything on quad 1-2 this yr is just being lazy.. Now quad 4 losses are pretty easy to see as well

A blowout loss to UVA will knock them BACK out.

A win overt UVA moves them to the 10 seed.

Two more wins I think gets them to an 8/9 game.

I think the ceiling with tourney march and tourney win would be a 7 or so. I dont think we could get any higher than that due to some of the negatives on the resume that won't go away even with 3 more wins.

Watch this be one of those wacky seed years where on Selection Sunday we are announced as a 6 or 7 seed, and a conference like the Big Ten or 12 whom everyone valued highly during the season gets stuck with a bunch of lower seeds

I don't see this iteration Hoo's team as that strong, they are very good and balanced, but they have stumbled a bit. They just jumped the Orange when they were at their weakest, time for payback.
