Four very winnable games coming up.

16-11, 10-6 in conference.

At least puts us in a position to have an outside chance of playing our way back into the conversation.

Also puts us in a good spot with four games remaining against the top half of the league, and an even better chance to improve our overall resume.

Obviously need some serious help from other teams, and we need to take care of business.

But it's a way brighter outlook today than it was a couple weeks ago.

Colgate, GTown, and Pitt ... Damn shames.

Pitt may be the hurdle too high to overcome.

We should be favored the next four games and just need to keep our high octane orange offense going. Eight games is still a lot. Our guys have finally figured out their roles.

Run the table. We got a fighting chance

Throw in Wake on the road and Florida State at home—both were games we should have won—and this team could have been 17-6 right now if not for the Pitt, Gtown and Colgate flameouts. Even just winning against Pitt would have helped as we had been playing well in the weeks prior.

Making the tourney is still a very tall order, but I'll say this... at least I'm excited about the next game. After the Pitt game I honestly thought the rest of the season wasn't even worth watching. College hoops is entertainment and there's still some entertainment left.

I looked at the bracketmatrix for the first time all season today. Any chance at doing anything requires us to
beat Notre Dame and UNC.
The end of the bubble will be bad again. We need to beat the teams that make up that weak bubble though I think ND win over KY has them in.

It's purely one game at a time. No margin for even one setback at this point.

VT, Duke, UNC and ND are all Quad 1 games.

I think we need at least 6 if we want to dance which means ACCT work. That 4-5 record in Q3 will haunt us all the way till the end if we do somehow get to Duke without having a 12th loss.

Indiana needs to get over the hump to a Q1 in NET and every bad loss needs to finish the season strong, along with someone like Arizona St making a run to be closer to .500

Exactly. It’ll be tough sledding but it’s possible. So we just gotta go one game at a time.

We can afford to lose 2 games the rest of the way, 1 of which is in the ACCt semis or finals.

That’s the scenario folks. It’s that simple.
Your saying SU finishes 10-1 in their last 11 league games with 4 quad 1 wins and they still have to win 2 or 3 more in the ACCT?

I would give us a 15-20% chance of getting in under that scenario. Possible but unlikely.
I'd put it around 50-50 just like we have been every single year when we end up going on a run. Just got to see who piles up the losses and goes out early in their tournaments.

Since we got in last year I can see us being like Louisville and even if we have a decent shot being left out.
