Why do they continue to say on fumbles its when the ball starts moving. The ball can still be moving and still be in the possession of the QB. Rex had possession until the ball leaves his grasp not when the ball starts moving, which was well past after his knee hit the ground.

They can’t see evidence that he fumbled, but they also can’t see evidence that he didn’t fumble, so the wrong call stands
