At this point I don't even know what to say when it comes to playing ND. Not only do they seem to do whatever they want, they get all the bounces, all the crazy ass crap you could think of goes in their favor. Just brutal just watch.

Luis Severino today: Four innings, 57 pitches. One hit, three strikeouts. Fastball sat around 96, reached 98. And Higgy hit his 7th HR of the Spring.

I guess the question is how much these travel problems are playing into this performance. Doesn’t excuse this dumpster fire, but it has to be playing a part in this. Syracuse just doesn’t even look like they want to be at this game.

Notre Dame plays very solid fundamental lacrosse and SU is being brutally exposed for their sloppiness. No adjustments being made is really concerning, especially on defense. You can do more than just change goalies. How about zone? Bench a player who isn’t a goalie? Switch matchups? Bueller?

Feels very deflating to know this ND team is the last game of the season.

Not to make excuses, but I wonder how much of this performance is the result of the awful travel snafus the experienced on their way to South Bend. The didn't arrive at the hotel until after 1am.

I don’t think it will unless ND is woofing (I don’t think they are).

Also, SU seems to still be shell shocked.

I would like to see SU start to extract a physical toll on ND but I think they’re too banged up and just trying to keep it movin.
