First down defense will be the key today or they will just run it down our throat.

You’re asking a non-QB to make a quick decision to throw the ball away while under duress. Opens the door to even worse outcomes than the loss of yards.

The simple solution is to not call stupid plays.
True. But that’s why it should be practiced. It is a play that any fan could make. A guy is three feet in front of you, throw it at the ground. 100% the play to make.

Huh? Anae let ND drive 60 yards? Yeah the play call was dumb, but ND is dominating our dline. It was a matter of time.

We gotta score. You can’t run reverses to the worst player on the team in a game like this.

Their O has only given them 7. We’re at home in a Dome. Shrader needs to be given a shot to win this one for us.

Maybe physics is catching up to our run D. This happened in 2018 starting with Clemson and we adjusted, but it took a few weeks. Let’s adjust like now please

No they aren’t. We have guys in the middle 7 yards deep standing mid end zone when they have one receiver outside.
I mean, on that one play sure, but they’re putting 8 in the box and getting beat, their o line is just better

They have 2 yards to go. Why are guys standing in the end zone and not on the line

Seems their only hope is to run around the edge of the line and get them from behind. Not saying it’s right ….

The fact that you think any fan can make that play says it all.

Enjoy watching.

What happened to the short throws and runs that led us to a score. Stop throwing it downfield
