I bet 1/3 of those freshman will enter the portal. We're seeing across CFB that it's now a year to year situation. It's almost impossible to plan or develop for the future. This is where they're stuck. They need to utilize the portal more, but you need the funding.

The top teams still use the hs recruiting as their base but use the portal as a bandaid to patch up holes they have on their roster. You don’t build through the portal that doesn’t make sense.
