i don't see Fran's love affair with Kerr either. He looks slow and not good on kickoffs but Im sure he'll be a good running back.

I totally forgot the game was today, just flicked it on for a moment and saw the score.

keeping up appearances 90s GIF

Watching our unathletic linemen waddle pathetically unable even to slow down the pick six...

Yeah, that's a part of this that also bothers me. He committed early, which should mean they really liked him then. He was an early enrollee, so he got spring practice under his belt. He started the season 3rd on the depth chart. And then at some point they were like "it's better to have guys throwing interceptions at a crazy rate than it is to play Carney more than two series."

What happened exactly?
At one point i believe he was saying he didn't know the playbook, or could only run certain plays. I was dumbfounded. How complicated can it be. I'm all for recruiting multiple QB's a class. The early takes have been stretches,

Where are we better?
What group of players are overperforming?
What position group has been coached up?
What have you seen that says those 10 wins were more McCord than the coaching staff?

We are not a well-coached football team in any aspect of the football program period. I hope Fran can bring in another NFL QB so we can have another magically season. Otherwise it will be a mess.
I am watching offensive guards, with a man on their nose, run right past our man on a pass play for a direct sack of the QB! I am watching wide receivers on a flar to the flat, miss their blocks on the DB, and our guy gets tackled for a loss...on the same kind of play run by ouir opponent, the WR makes the block and the receiver runs for a touchdown! That kind of stuff isn't all on the head coach. We still have a huge talent gap at most positions on the field. Maybe we need some better position coaches...maybe...but take offensive line...our guys on the line are as big or in some cases bigger than the Notre Dame O LIne, yet their guys can block...and ours can't. "Coaching up" is so over rated, when your competition starts with players who need no coaching up. All I am saying is give the head coach time to build the program the way he thinks he can. It is way too early to start calling for a new head coach. I believe talent wins games and the more talent you have, the better your chances of winning.

Tennessee is still ranked so who cares if they are worse .
The point is the schedule wasn’t as bad as it was thought to be. This was a lost year. With a competent qb we are going to a bowl easily. You can’t say of we predicted 5 wins with a tough schedule. Other then this game they could won any of the others. This team under achieved even without qb1
