I'm still all in on Fran but this is the first time I've been disappointed. Today's performance does not reflect what he professes. And sending out 4 freshmen as captains may be a nice investment in the future but we paid a high price in the present. Live in the present, Fran.

Love Fran but we would have been much better off with him pre NiL as he is a recruiter. Now it’s more about the money (obviously) and we lack the resources… end of game which will be more apparent for many teams in the next few seasons.

I would say Robinson has not lived up to whatever his pay scale is.

I was OK with Nixon. But then I read the quote from Fran the other day where it was very clear that Nixon has carte Blanche to do whatever he wants with the O. I’m sure that’s the promise Fran gave when he hired him, but I don’t think the program can operate that way. It’s clear there’s too much deference in that relationship. He’ll be back but I’m not sure he should be. Doesn’t seem healthy.

Robinson should have been fired after last year. If he’s still around next season then Fran isn’t serious.

Any OC would look good with the talent we had. When you don’t have great talent you show your real worth.

I think it’s fair to say that the drop off from Angeli to post-Angeli is incredibly concerning. And evidence of a real and sustained failure by Nixon.

Earlier this season he was as good as gone after this year according to a lot of folks. No talk of that now. Makes me wonder if the programs that would have been suitors got cold feet when they saw the scope of this collapse. If they thought it was solely because of Angeli they’d still be interested. There’s something else going on.

We could do worse than somebody like Narduzzi; a steady diet of 8-9 wins and in contention for the conference crown often.

We would be lucky to get the consistency of a Pat Narduzzi. The guys runs a successful and professional program. I’m sick of these total collapse seasons we have on the regular.

It seems Nixon really thought Collins could run the Angeli offense. And obviously he was disastrously wrong.

How can an OC be that wrong on a qB he has had in program for spring, summer and into fall? Pena seemed to know Rickie wasn’t gonna work running Nixon’s O.

I think he may have put Carney in to give Filardi a break to collect himself before putting him back in.

John Wildhack hired a head coach with no prior head coaching or coordinator experience. You can recruit all the top players but if you don't know what to do with in a game what's the point. I wonder what Kirby Smart and others said to JW to have him think Fran would be a successful head coach. Or did Fran just sell JW like he sells recruits?

This is going to be an ugly off season. This season and the sheer domination we’ve experienced suggests little good for the future. I’m now skeptical of literally everything we do. Ugh

This HC and coordinators did win 10 games last season. I know, I know, Kyle McCord. However, we’ve all watched a lot of football in our lives. Yes, McCord was critically important. But you don’t win 10 games without having *some* idea how to coach. And for as much as we all love Kyle, it’s not like he’s on an NFL roster. He was a very good college QB, not Peyton Manning or Joe Burrow.

I continue to think that there is something rotten in the program at the moment, beyond scheme or development. I’m very concerned about the relationship between Fran and each of his coordinators. I don’t think either of them are healthy, for differing reasons.

A mid level FCS team could have done better offensively the last 7 games. We have more talent than that. More like mid level G6.

Start looking hard at the coaching staff changes.

Agree but, all of our recruits are getting phone calls today from other schools and they are listening. 70-7 makes you think about a lot of things. If we lost 38-10 nobody cares. That was historic yesterday for all the wrong reasons and when we lose to a 1-10 BC team it’s going to be uglier.

It would be really interesting to know how much of last year's offensive strategy and playcalling success was really Kyle McCord. I'm not saying his arm talent, which is unarguable. I'm talking about scheme and playcalling.

They at least pulled their starting QB & RBs in I believe mid to late 3rd qtr. And at one point in the 4th qtr the announcers noted a backup senior WR was in.. The problem was their first set of subs are better than our starters. Did they actually put walkons in? I don't know. Maybe the last play when we scored the TD.
