I knew this well but I never saw written so clearly ads this The Pentagon Paper revealed the lies . Nixon had nothing to do with getting us into that terrible slaughter of so many Americans and Vietnamese citizens LBJ's lies and his ego makes me think that wanting the presidency so much he would do anything achieve this including assassination. He urged JFK to go to Texas for politics. He reminds me of a another a-hole whose ego trumps his thinking.
