NY Giants 2021 True Blue Thread

Oooh, the snow there looks cool with the sunlight and the glistening helmets!

I’m reduced to making the types of comments my mother would’ve made in the 30 seconds she spent in the living room when I was watching these games growing up.

Nope didn’t have a big enough bag. I wish we could cut Glennon mid-game and watch it happen.

You watched 30 seconds …. Your a courageous sob.

Somebody must have asked him what his record was against Chicago...

I like Judge, I really do.

And he’ll have one more opportunity next year. We’ve gotta stay healthy. I feel like that’s been the biggest issue the past two years, especially up front.

Gettleman’s out, and we’ll be saying goodbye to others as well. I just want to watch meaningful football again. It’s been really tough to be a Giants fan the past handful of years.

im tired of saying this. Until they address the offensive line its not gonna change not matter who is the GM, coach or QB.

This is the definition of insanity with this line. First 2 picks MUST be olinemen

Our smarter than you GM addressed it by pushing off Justin Push and Westburg and overpaid some duds.

But yeah, address the line first middle and last. And then do it again.

pugh and westburg were a mistake. Then signing Solder to a massive contract was another mistake. You take 2 Ol guys in the first and then another one in the third round and maybe grab someone off the market. If I see a WR taken before round 4 I am going ballistic

And that WR will have a history or injuries and bad behavior...

5. NEW YORK GIANTS: EDGE GEORGE KARLAFTIS, PURDUE BOILERMAKERS
Karlaftis, who was born in Athens, Greece, is the “Greek Freak” of college football. He is one of the most powerful defensive ends in the country, and he pairs that strength with arguably the best hand usage in the class and an explosive get-off that makes life tough on opposing offensive tackles.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound Boilermaker showed a lot of promise as an underclassman and maximized his full potential as a true junior, as evidenced by his 90.6 pass-rush grade this season.

8. NEW YORK GIANTS (VIA CHICAGO): C TYLER LINDERBAUM, IOWA HAWKEYES
Linderbaum went from defensive tackle to the best offensive lineman in college football in just two years.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pound Iowa product played both sides of the ball in high school and was recruited to play on the interior defensive line, where he logged 18 snaps in his first college season. He then flipped to center for the 2019 campaign, where he started and recorded the fifth-best grade in the FBS at the position (81.7). Linderbaum then claimed the No. 1 spot in 2020 before making history in 2021, closing out his fourth and final year as a Hawkeye by tying for the highest single-season PFF grade from a Power Five center (94.4).

I’d sign up for that in a heartbeat. Karlaftis sounds JPP-esque.

Bush league of Judge to basically talk crap about Shurmur like that. Regardless of if it’s true or not….you don’t have the clout to be blaming other coaches like that. Scrubby. I don’t like him.

Doesn't matter if Judge is technically a good coach or not, he clearly can't handle the NY media and the spotlight, at least not right now.

He needs to go. I know he won't, but next year is going to be awful.

I just looked at the Giants season records the last 4 years they never won more than 6 games.
Patriots with a chit roster and Cam Newton went 7-9 last year.

I never realized how bad it got in Giants land.

You guys should want to suck next year as Bryce Young is legit and a potential franchise QB worthy of sucking for.

Keep Judge get off the 0-4 start next year. Fire him. Don’t spend any money in FA this year. Get bad contracts off the book this offseason and carry a ton of dead money so that when you draft your next QB can spend to surround him.

Give me the combo of Mike Borgonzi (Asst GM KC) & Eric Bieniemy, see what they can do to help and adjust Daniel Jones and if they can't go get their guy

Jones had won 3 of his last 5 and was 4-4 (after 0-3 start) at the time of his injury, we thought a run was coming.

The new GM will have sit through 1 more year of J & J unless they kill it.
