NY Giants 2021 True Blue Thread

Lot's of names being thrown out there. I might be okay with Ryan Poles from Canandaigua. He and his dad were both great HS players.

Pro Football Focus graded Creed Humphrey as the top-rated rookie in the NFL this year. Their draft may have been under-the-radar, but it was outstanding. Don't know how much of a role Poles played, but he'd be a viable candidate--if he wants to work for a dysfunctional franchise. He's likely got better choices, like Minnesota.

The revolving door continues. Let's get someone with prior HC experience this time.

Ding Dong the witch ………..dead. Not that our troubles are over but now I have hope.

The last month of the season was just absolutely pathetic - on the field and in his comments.

He had to go. I still can’t believe what I watched in those games.

After the last few, I’m all set on first time head coaches.

Go out and get someone who has proven they can coach a successful team in the NFL.

It was inevitable that Judge would be fired once the decision was made to go outside for the new GM. None of the best candidates would be interested in the job if they had to inherit a head coach and couldn't hire their own choice.

Not just the top-rated rookie. Top rated center in the league.

It's the eve of the NFL playoffs and we are reduced to watching highlights from playoff games a decade and a half ago...

At least give me some Tyree or Manningham...or wide right...

Going into Dallas and beating a 13-3 team is one of the all time sweetest wins.

Would I be a bad person if I hoped that a former Cuse, Bills and Jags coach was the new Giants head coach? Some on this board would be somewhat upset.

I think most of us could "Hackett".

The last time some on this board weren't upset was 4/7/2003 or 1/1/1960 or, if you are a Bills fan, 1/29/1994; a Jets fan - 1/12/1969. LOL. Lots of miserable people on this board.

I think it depends who else is available by the time we get ourselves a GM.

We certainly could do, and certainly have done, worse over the last four seasons.

I’d love him as the new OC.

Neutral as the new HC - I’d feel better about hiring a HC who has had success. But what do I know? If we hire a smart GM and he decides Hackett is the guy, then I’m in.

He has had success at all three stops. His last stop just ended badly.

But how much of that was on him and how much was on that clown show of a franchise?

Giants wrap up first round of general manager interviews.

I'd be happy with Schoen, Hortiz, or Peters.
