Its obviously one game, a game in which our starting qb played only a half, but i have some thoughts about the way our offense look.

Our offense looks too damn complicated. Were trying to go Nascar fast but we just seemed like we were running a chinese fire drill the entire night.

We have playmakers all over the field, which is awesome to see, but I'm not sure McDonald will figure out how to get the ball spread around. It just seemed so damn unorganized and foreced at times

Simplify. Sometimes simple works. We played our best football under Marrone when he took some of the sizzle out of the playbook and seemingly ran 5 different plays. A couple of runs, a couple of roll outs, a couple of seem routes and we were good to go.

Yesterday scared me a little bit. We just didnt look like a major D1 offense out there...in fact we looked like a JV team. Obviously things will get better over time, but for us to win games, we are going to need that Hunt imporvisational ability. He single handedly won us 2 or 3 games last year with his ability to scramble. Without him in there, this offense could be scary...bad
