I started over there as well, but I got tired of the sun in my eyes.

Yeah overall a first rate event as others have said I was a late add for attending at all, had a dinner to go to later in the evening, it was great to get out and see the team sorry I didn't get to see everyone ran into Bam, really nice guy, very busy chasing is son, I heard pride in his voice as Shy had just made a great tackle.

Need a QB more than we need WR's. And we need a good athlete at the QB position, too.

If, as you say, Dungey is moved to WR. That would leave us Wilson, Long, Culpepper at the position. Plus whoever else they might recruit.

Wilson has shown nothing other than a strong arm. Long has shown that he may or may not be able to play at the highest level, but that he does not have plus athleticism and does not have plus height. And Culpepper may be the most promising but he'll be coming off a torn ACL.

Honestly, I'm not sure how a fan seeing Dungey doesn't see the potential for him to jump in and start next year after a redshirt. At QB.
Really? What did you see yesterday in Dungey that was so impressive? He is tall and rangy, but he wasn't very accurate and he got picked as well. I didn't see anything that was bad, but I didn't see anything that turned my head either. Look, I am rooting for him and all the other to be great, but so far, they all just seem to be underclassmen with potential.

I wouldn't say he lacked accuracy. The pick was because of a poor decision (it's his what second week of practice?). Has a nice quick release, seemed comfortable in the pocket, and made quick decisions on where to go with the ball.

Wilson on the other hand lacks pocket presence, still making poor decisions with the ball/wants to throw the deep ball every play, and he's been with the ten a full year. He has a very strong arm which masks his problems to a lot of people.

Tough to say what will happen next year, but I think Dungey looked better at this practice than AJ and Wilson did last year. He also has the height and athletic ability, not one or the other.

He's a freaking true freshman playing in his first D1 scrimmage with a ton of people watching.

Kenterius Womack has speed and a serious pair of hands. He made the two best catches during the 7 on 7. He might see the field as a WR this year.

Shy Cullen is going to be a good one.

The run game was impressive and to paraphrase Donald Trump, "Someone must be doing the blocking!"

Honestly, that is not a very high threshold. Was he a January enrollee?

No he wasn't a January enrollee.

Patience is a virtue - Dungey isn't moving to WR.

That is what I have been saying! I just apply it to all of them.

Been to some of these in past years and don't recall any being as good as this. The IPF is impressive, the football wing is well done and the food was both good and plentiful. Great to see Coyle mixing with everyone and got to chat with Dan B.
Shared a table at the BBQ with Mr & Mrs Crusty and happened to hook up with them again at the scrimmage. As far as I know it's the first time I've actually met a member of this board. Really good people and I look forward to meeting some more.
