I've been pro-Shafer as heartily as anyone on this board, but man, there's no reason SU should be getting drubbed like this by the worst Lville team in years.

I'm feel the exact same way. I've always thought that Shafer could be the guy to get us to the next level, but today is the first time I find myself questioning if he is the guy for us.

My heart wants to say yes because he is exactly the type of guy you would want to lead Syracuse.
Unfortunately my brain is starting to disagree, and it may be time to pull the plug after this season. There are a lot of good young coaches out there that have proved they can be head man.

If Coyle wants to give him one more year I can live with it but I would really want to see some big moves to try and upgrade the rest staff.
