Too hilarious, since when is missing 49 Fts not concerning? Good luck w that. I am more worried about Villanova and Duke after watching your performance against UT
Cool. That's how Michigan State, Louisville, and Kentucky felt.

Yeah, good guys always mix guns, drugs and speeding. Probably earned money as a child care specialist with his pedigree.Don't feel too bad for him. Great guy, but he made some mistakes and he is paying for them now. If he had returned, Carolina could have been looking at a 1 seed, but given the team's play so far this season a final four is still a possibility...they are just about unbeatable when they make their free throws.
Two losses at home by 6 points when they missed 49 free throws. Not concerning in the least. You'll see when we come to the Dome next month. Hope you remain in the top 5 until then, this UNC team does its best against better competition.
As I said in another thread, I wanted N. Car. at full strength when they come up here. But regardless, we'll just kick butt more convincingly. Be careful what you wish for because with only one outside threat the game could get seriously out of hand. You'll be one who sees.
Kids will be kids.Yeah, good guys always mix guns, drugs and speeding. Probably earned money as a child care specialist with his pedigree.
Of course, if he had enrolled in classes that actually existed, and was required to go, he would not have had so much down time. Idle hands are the devils workshop.

I guess the way you see it losing to UAB, Belmont and Texas were the flukes. But they weren't. Your team (especially McAdoo) is an awful FT shooting team. That's like us saying we could have won more games if Arinze was a 70% foul shooter. It's a part of the game skippy. We got an outside threat back earlier this week (Leslie)...but yeah, maybe beating 1,2, and 3 were just flukes. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Obviously Kentucky is not the #1team in the country may not be top 25We got an outside threat back earlier this week (Leslie)...but yeah, maybe beating 1,2, and 3 were just flukes. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Anyone else disappointed we didn't get unc twice this yr? Even w PJ this is the yr to get them at the dean dome IMO...Obviously Kentucky is not the #1team in the country may not be top 25
We plan on getting progressively worse. We dream BIG.Hey, I like it when people overlook us. That's what 1, 2, and 3 (preseason) did this season. Didn't work out well for them, but maybe 'Cuse will be different. That's why they play the games. Our starting center played all of 20 seconds in the Texas game, but he will be back in two weeks. UNC should be a much more dangerous team then than they are now, and that is saying a lot. We'll see what happens.

Fts... obviously.I saw him play over 20 minutes against UAB and Belmont. What's your excuse for those terrible loses?
Can't understand this decision by the NCAA. Roy said Hairston worked hard in pre-season practice. He did everything asked of him. Jeez, that should have been enough to let him play. Guess it didn't matter that the SUV was rented by a notorious booster. And the gun? Oh, it was on the ground, so probably dropped by the tooth fairy. And the pot, just a little that didn't matter.
The NCAA finally gets something right.
I don't think the NCAA necessarily got something right in this case. I look at it this way-McDonald paid back $1800 to regain his eligibility, so it is entirely possible that Hairston's extra benefits totaled an amount that neither he nor his family could afford, or Hairston could have bombed his Fall classes and been academically ineligible anyway making the further appeals pointless.
If things reach that point, there is no sense in UNC moving forward, and by making a final decision now it might allow Hairston a chance to sign to play professionally somewhere this year while allowing UNC to move forward without the cloud of a possible return hanging over the team. My two cents
Yeah. The NC troopers determined that the gun next to the car driven by the UNC star did not belong to the UNC star. So, who did they put it on. A non-player. A passer by
I'm sure that the fact Hairston twice used an SUV leased by a convicted felon and NC booster had more to do with it. NC admin stated "We had enough information that we all agreed upon with the university and the NCAA to submit reinstatement for Leslie, but we just didn't have it for P.J."I don't think the NCAA necessarily got something right in this case.
