It's amazing seeing that a team can actually improve from a horrible first year when you hire someone who is capable of being a head coach.

What about after a horrible second year? We had a mediocre first year. ;)

Not impressed. Hopefully TheCusian can spin this into something positive. Maybe, our experience offensive coordinator is all of a sudden less experienced and will get better? We will progressively get better while all the other teams won't? I don't know.

Anyway.
- Barely 100 yards of offense in the half
- No 3rd down conversions.

This is the upgrade over McFunkit and why we didn't interview any other offensive coordinators.

Not sure we win another game this year. We're making Wake look unstoppable.

Our staff has a great opportunity to prove they can make halftime adjustments. Right now, they're definitely getting out-coached.

When you have next to no big play potential you gotta string 10+ good plays together to score, and we can't do that.

Been that way for most of the past decade.

Total offense 280 to 105.

You wrote exactly what I was thinking.

how do we expect to win with not using our number 1 wr.

It's like he's not even playing.

And people wonder why people stay home

He has to be frustrated. Only looked his way once. He's the only WR that can get any sort of separation.

But don't people understand that this huge early season game against perennial cellar dweller Wake Forrest is crucial to our ability to eek out 6 wins?!?! It's basically the same as when we played Miami in the 90s!

Ain't no spinning here. That was not good.

But quit crying and start rooting. #softnosed

Still terrible, no talent no speed. They would still stink with Phillips

We scored on some big plays against URI.

But this is a different animal.

Yeah, URI.

That team would struggle against in-state rival Johnson & Wales.

Wow we struggled a little without the starting QB, Hback, and TE after one drive I am shocked.

We just don't have the talent to make up for losing two of our skill players on offense.

Our "starting" QB threw a pick on his first throw of the season. And threw a punch in his first game last season.
