Never heard it phrased that way, I must be old.

I don't know why Clemson over other schools, but they're obviously doing s($?)omething right this year.

Do you think we go after another DE or are we putting it all in and letting it ride on EO? Personally, I would have loved to have Elijah Daniel over EO who is now headed to Clemson.

Just one more reason the Clemson obsession makes no sense to me.

Fixed.

Clemson is coming off a good year (10-4/6-2), including winning the ACC Championship, which they accomplished with a defense that was ranked (#84) below Syracuse. Their ACC title earned them a berth in the Orange Bowl, where their weak D was exposed in an embarrassing 70-33 shellacking by West Virginia, who was considered the weakest (and in many eyes, unworthy) BCS qualifier.

Well EO had better take all his officials if he "decides" for Clemson...

Clemson has dropped 2013 linebacker Isaac McDonald from its recruiting board after the rising senior at Champagnat Catholic High in Hialeah, Fla. attended camps at Mississippi and Alabama, according to multiple sources.
McDonald, who committed to the Tigers after making his first visit to campus in early March, is the second player to have recruiting ties with Clemson severed after taking visits to other schools. North Carolina offensive lineman R.J. Prince committed to Clemson last fall, but then parted ways with Clemson after he visited Chapel Hill for UNC’s basketball game against Duke. He subsequently committed to UNC.

Someone wake me when this is over...this saga has offically drained me and I am now numb to where he chooses...still hopes its us but if not, oh well.

we are still involved with some solid DE prospects
I hope that SU doesn't lose some potential quality DE and LB recruits waiting on EO. It would have been better if EO may his decision this week so SU could know where it stood and could move on either way. It doesn't bode well for SU thay he spent a few supposedly good days on campus only to say that he'll let everybody know in December (or maybe later) where he stands.

Now we have to hope that SU has a super season so that we're still in the run for him come December. Frankly, barring unusual circumstances such as SD getting into a quality Bowl game or his value diminishing because of a serious injury or mediocre play his senior year, it's more likely than not that he'll go to a top 20 program or ND. I just hope that he doesn't mess up SU because of his indecision. I do think, however, that DM will be smart enough to deal with this scenario.

IMO he's looking for a reason to not go to Syracuse.

Or looking for a reason to spurn ND that makes sense .. or UF ... honestly if what we hear on this board is true he wasn't going to choose Cuse and his latest visit made it a whole lot tougher not to choose them over the other guys.

This is exactly how it was explained to me a few weeks back when I shared the UF news in this thread.

I wouldn't over think the delay. While SU's chance may never be better than right now with EO, the kid deserves to take as much time as he needs. It sounds like it will come down to the official visits. Another reason I wish the USC game was in the Dome. Think about the atmosphere at that game while hosting official visitors...That would keep us in the ball game with Clemson, ND, and UF.

This came today & the video was uploaded this morning. The video must have been made before he announced that he was postponing his Tuesday PC.

In an Exclusive Video Interview with (NYCSN) NYC Sports Network, Ebenezer Ogundeko says if he is not ready to decide on his college choice by Tuesday then he will postpone his scheduled Press Conference. The highly touted star defender from Thomas Jefferson High School has received pressure from all sides, but is still undecided. His final 3 choices are Syracuse, Miami and Notre Dame.
