John Garcia was on Axe's show today and said that Coach Anselmo will be visiting Ebo in-home on I believe Thursday.

If anyone follows what EBO does on social network its really easy to see Syracuse either really isn't in it or he's trying to fool everyone which I doubt.
Let me say that going after Ebo is like jumping into the rabbit hole and meeting the "Mad Hater".

I'd equate it to something more like translating Cali ... but that is just me.

Let me guess. Topped out at 6th grade? Now don't you go saying Masters or doctorate. I have one of those as well.:blah:

I can tell it shows ... unfortunately it takes more than a sixth grade education to maintain my career path ... and understand some of your posts on this board as well.

Should we be referring to you as Dr. Cali?

Ebenezer Ogundeko (Brooklyn, N.Y./Thomas Jefferson) is down to two schools.
The ESPN 150 defensive end with more than 20 offers has two schools at the top: Clemson and Florida. They are now the only two schools he is looking at.
"Down to those 2," Ogundeko wrote in a text message.
Ogundeko's last two official visits went to the Tigers and Gators, and the official visit to Clemson helped the Tigers catch the Gators at the top of Ogundeko's list.
Clemson assistant coach Marion Hobby made an in-home visit with Ogundeko, the No. 1 player in New York, this week.
"Just things about the campus. The coaching staff and distance. And of course playing time," Ogundeko said of the conversation with Hobby.
Syracuse assistant coach John Anselmo was also in to visit with Ogundeko this week, and as his first BCS offer, he will still officially visit Syracuse the weekend of Dec. 7.
The Gators are supposed to visit with Ogundeko on Friday.

If this was actually the case, I'd say we should cancel his official visit. He shouldn't get a free trip to visit his friends if he isn't considering us.

I totally agree, but the way his recruitment has been going, he will love us after the visit.

Agreed,

Most definetly Anselmo should find out if this is the case and if that statement is accurate cancel the visit. You want to have people who actually want to be here visiting.

I hope that wouldn't turn off his friends. I would hope that they would understand that the school is not in the business of paying for recruiting visits that are hopeless.

no way. syracuse should most definitely have him in for the visit.

Why have him in for the visit if his mind is already made up. Sell it as we are focusing our efforts on guys who want to be here, not offering weekend get aways. Winter break is coming soon he can hang with his boys then.

I just want to add that my statement said "IF this is true". From what I've heard it isn't true, I think we still have a shot (albeit a small one) and should have him up. But if that's what he's actually telling people, sorry, EO, your visit got cancelled.

Why indeed? 18yr old kids can change their minds quite frequently as you can guess and Ebo has shown. No visit = zero chance; visit with a lot of close friends + seeing the team in action + watching a hoops game = a chance. That simple.

Because you have ZERO chance if he doesn't visit. You're still selling your program, to the kid, to the family, to the high school coach, to future prospects at the school.

Besides, the cost is peanuts and schools are allotted like 50 (or more) paid trips a year. Syracuse probably barely uses half of them.
