EO and why he hasn't committed to Florida? Heard from a friend who gave me the scoop from Florida on this. The class has 24 and maybe 25 slots according to his inside source to fill this year in which they already have 25, depending on the choices 2 juniors on the program will be making after their bowl game this year. That means, at the very most, they will have 27 slots to fill. EO at best has a conditional offer at Florida in his view behind 3 other D-line candidates. I am assuming they are Nkemdiche, Williams and Daniels, but there are at least 2 other D-linemen on their board as well. Not to mention, they already have 5 D-line committs already this year. So, at this point, I think Florida (very much like ND ealier this summer) may be out otherwise I think EO would have committed. If that is true, his other choice was Clemson, who is still after Nkemdiche and Daniel along with the #1 DT Adams, who is visiting them last in January, along with at least 3 other d-linemen on their board as well. I don't have the scoop from anyone close to the program there, but logic says with him already visiting there, and if what my friend is telling me out of Florida is correct, then the offer at Clemson is conditional as well. If all this is true, then you would think SU may be back in play, however will a new shool be added to his list? I think he has alot of potential, but am wondering if like so many experts are out there saying that NY talent is behind the S-Curve in development at the next level, if there isn't something too that? I thought Ishaq was a slam dunk no matter where he played, but so far not the case at ND for him, and I thought he was an all around better player than I have seen in quite awhile out ot NY in some time.(including EO)
Since we spent so much time and effort on this thread, might as well see it through. Still would like to see EO, top talent out of NY play up at the dome! If this is old news, so be it, but haven't had a chance to read the last month on this thread.
