I wholeheartedly agree that we need to get back to playing fast, up-tempo.

For that to be successful, we need to move the chains and score. If not, we’re accelerating the losing margin.

We slowed down for a reason(s). I’m hopeful that changes this year. Ultimately, it may be Shrader that has to lead that tempo though. Still hope TD finds his groove and goes out a winner.

The first 3 years with Eric we played fast, then with Tommy we slowed down.

Because he was establishing the culture and the foundation of the offense. They were prepared to take some hits the first couple years. Seems like we slowed down after the Maryland game. You can see the offense inability to score while playing fast impacted the whole team. Issues with the O line became evident. Giving up sacks at a alarming rate. Last year was worse so we slowed down even more. The staff wants to be incredibly fast and aggressive. They were just forced to change it up.

of course he has to kick it up after going 5-7 and 1-10 the last two years but his demeanor has nothing to do with what I said.
