How did we let Chuck Zimmerman's granddaughter Laura leave Westhill for UNC. She had a hat trick in the first half.
Kara Cannizzaro from Caz is looking good for them too.

SU girl trips, a UNC girl runs over her and falls, violation Syracuse.
Zimmerman runs into a Syracuse stick which isn't moving, violation Syracuse.
Syracuse gets free position, whistle blows play to start, SU shoots & scores, goal disallowed because UNC player violated the free space, what? Let the play finish and blow whistle after SU loses possession. UNC had 2 or 3 straight violations in that situation breaking our momentum each time. Stupid rules.
Girl forces her way between two defenders and loses the ball. She is then awarded a free position ( scratching my head)Oh Lord
SU gets the ground ball, is breaking away and the play is whistled dead for a violation against UNC, what?
Let the play go until UNC gets the ball, stupid, stupid, stupid!
Ref blows the whistle to count players, in the meantime precious seconds are ticking off the clock with SU down 1 with under 2 minutes left, at least 12 seconds go by & UNC is found to have one too many players. There is no loss of player or penalty to offending team, just SU gets to resume play with the ball & UNC sends the extra player to the benchOh Lord
Once again UNC has one too many players on the field and there is no penalty in the women's game for that. Just send the player off & give the ball back to SU.
Despite all of that crap SU behind a sensational goal by Michelle Tumolo comes from behind and is headed to the final four. Since the rules in the women's game are so screwy I wonder if we could take Zimmerman & Cannizzaro with us for the next game?
