I think our defensive line can be a strong suit for us if we can stay healthy, I think singleton will probably start at corner as a freshman.

DT, 5 deep with 300 lbs including freshmen coming in. DE - who can generate a pass rush on their own. LB, guys need to step, there’s no help coming in. Secondary - going to need one or two freshmen to be heavy contributors. Even then, not sure if they can hold up against this schedule.

Should be better vs the run. Against the pass? Big question

We made a huge leap in Tony Whites second year, I am hoping that is the biggest observation we make.

Also, 90% of our DL returns, which may be the best spot to get older.

Lastly, tackling got better (low bar I know) as the year went on, so that would make sense to get better also.

I was more concerned with the tackling angles than the tackling itself. The bad angles caused most of the long touchdowns against us. I did not see that get better as the year went on.

Tackling can always get better, and we were mediocre at best last year. Let’s hope tackling and angles both get better.

Interior DL is in good shape. They need to find a pass rush, whether there's a portal guy or the development of Jobity, KingJ, Caden Brown etc.

Then probably LB and CB. Lots of good young talent in the pipeline but a veteran starter to bridge the gap would be good.

I think incoming frosh Eric Thomas (from powerhouse Miami Northwestern HS & had multiple SEC offers including UGA & Ole Miss) & his older brother Chris (who’s in the portal from Marshall & is believed to be following) both have the size & pedigree to contribute at DT next year.
