His comment speaks volumes about this young man - so many adults have to practice hard to get gratitude and appreciation BACK into their lives. It’s a strong indication that someone has the emotional balance and intelligence to be a great leader. Exciting pickup here.
Thank you for this post.

Very athletic. Stays low, Keeps his balance. Can get to linebackers.

Well coached.

if he can keep his game together with 50 more pounds on his frame, he could be special.

50 more pounds? He looked pretty huge in that video.

Well If he is 260 lbs like it’s been reported then he’ll need to gain about that much to be an OT.

Maybe he plays in a really low level league, but he looked much bigger than the other kids.

Does he have any other offers? Trust the staff but just curious.
His 247 profile says his only offer was from Syracuse. He was offered when he was 240. Up to 260 now.

I think we are going to see Fran offer some kids well before others do. There will be times when we are fighting to the end for players with 20 offers and times when we are the only offer.

I would be more concerned if the player was from Nebraska (or someplace where the staff does not appear to have extensive contacts). Pretty sure we are the most connected program in NJ and definitely the most connected program in South Jersey. I would be really surprised if this kid is not a really good player and team leader down the road.

He surely fits the DART profile Fran is looking for.

It will be interesting to see how many players we get from NJ next year as we were thin this year.

Agree. Not sure what was more surprising.

That Coach Brown took 9 players from NYS in the class of 2025, or that he only took 2 from NJ.

It will be interesting to see what happens here.

I have a friend who played left tackle for one of the great high school football programs in Pennsylvania. All state honors, went up against future FBS players, strong as ox. He played at 240 pounds, but he would have had a slew of P4 offers even at that weight if he was taller than a generously measured 6'2".

Most of us felt strongly that SU was missing out by not focusing on NY and NJ. It is great to see Fran and his staff " Loved the signing day press conf" discuss the commitment to recruiting our primary footprint. They believe that we can build a championship team with kids from the East which i love. DART is strong and will only get stronger.
