Class of 2026 OL Roseby Lubintus (NJ) COMMITTED TO SYRACUSE (7/9/25)

These GIFs are amazing. Digging The Triple Lindy with Rodney D. in Back to School. Fran Brown is not of this Earth. "We are getting more recruits. We are getting a whole bunch of studs whether you like it or not." Quote of the year. And it's true. :)

Junky town but has the best pizza in the world!

Just learned about Old Forge pizza recently. Has no business being as good as it is and every corner seems to have a spot with their own unique, closely guarded recipe. Revellos and Arcaro and Genell being right across from each other is great as well.

JarHeadJim Class 4 Gale Warning:
Be advised JHJ is currently unsupervised, armed w/GIFs and happy as hell. While he's on this recruiting jag, SyracuseFan members are advised to avoid direct contact with him and to shelter in place. Should anyone encounter JHJ in the wild, they are advised to simply smile and say, "Yes Jim, as a matter of fact Dodge Darts are my favorite car."

I grab a sheet of Arcaro's pizza to take home (Rochester) any time I'm in the area (usually visiting extended family).

A serious question. Do we need to be afraid of too much success? I mean, it’s just a matter of time before the big guys ( SEC, b10) start calling coach brown? I know, we just can hope coach brown wants really to build something different in syracuse, but we ‘re all humans with our weaknesses. On the other side, if you go to arkansas or mich state or something like that, you will probably be just one of many…

My opinion only -- Fran Brown is a northeast guy. Not sure that his recruiting area extends as well to the B1G [I know, I know -- the big programs recruit everywhere].

I'm more scared about Penn State and Rutgers than anyone else. And RU only because that's his home state, and might mean something to him. No idea whether he'd be tempted by Penn State, if that job ever opens up.

Otherwise, I think that as long as we continue to provide Brown with the resources he needs, we don't have much to worry about. He can be a legend here, or just another coach in a loaded SEC.

Yeah the only job that really makes me worry is Rutgers for the reason you stated.

This is a Fran’s first head coaching job. Fran is as loyal as a guy and relationship guy as it comes. He feels that towards JW. Furthermore Fran is a man of his word and strong faith. Fran will know what to do when other opportunities present themselves. And I don’t think money will be the major driving factor. Sure if someone is throwing ridiculous money at him it will be a factor. But I truthfully do not think that is priority one with Fran and family. I think he is really happy here and if the success continues, I don’t see many reasons on why he would want to leave

If we’re afraid of success it’s time to just pack it in.

And just to be clear, I'm not suggesting this is going to happen overnight, but I believe that Fran Brown could do the same things here that Dabo was able to do at Clemson.

Does that include contending? Obviously, time will tell. But I could definitely see him turning us into a national powerhouse again.
