If Franklin’s firing affects Syracuse much, it is more likely to be with the 2027 class.

Unless there is a red flag, the guy is NFL-huge. Even if he isn't playing great this year, the question would be, can he be coached up?

This is D1 college football. You can't just keep kids that aren't good enough.

Some of these guys are offered based on potential and size, and then as their soph/junior tape comes out they just don't turn into a high level D1 athlete.
