Honestly , I’m kind of in the middle on this, but I look back on the incredibly stupid things I did when I was young….. I was damn lucky . I lean towards a second chance.

I wouldn’t want to for permanently penalized for all the stupid things I did when I was that age. I actually know 2 different people who had somewhat similar situations. Both were on the water where someone lost their live. Neither one was the driver, they were older than 21, but there was a serious accident. Both drivers served jail time but I wouldn’t consider either one a bad person. The others on the boat weren’t charged but he carried that guilt with him until he lost his own life. I’d hope he learned a great deal from the incident and used the rest of his life to make up for it. Point is if he hasn’t had any issues since I have no problem taking a second chance on the kid .
