Poor starts to both of the halves.

More than willing to write it off. I don't remember it being a historical thing, but it might actually make sense. There are certain things you definitely want to do to attack our zone, it's possible starting halves, teams are coming off having that drilled into them, so they are prepared right away, but then as time goes on, they start to get away from that (and we make adjustments).

Following some posts on NC state board, they were really concerned with the conditioning of their team. There was a trend where they are obsolutely gassed at the end of every game. Also their best player has constant dehydration problems and had to leave at a crucial moment tonight.

I'm pretty sure they started off great, got tired and got outrun by us to end 1st half. After 20 mins of rest they come out strong again, but can't keep up half way thru the second half.

Forgetting zone attack lessons might be a factor too.

Rather dominate in the last 5 minutes of every half than the first 5 minutes, as we tend to do. Plus, NCState was playing out of their mind at the beginning of both halves. They'd hit 100% of their threes well into the first half.

Yeah, doing some reading of their board as well, seeing the same kinda things.

Not worried about it right now. We had similar issues in 2010 from what I remember, and we did ok.
