Orange Out in the Dome Saturday?

Is it OK if I only have orange pinstripes on my pants?

we were told here that the minimalism of a pinstripe, means that the Orange is maximized.

How expensive would it be for the SU AD office or Dome people to buy 45k Orange XL shirts with a corporate sponsor saying go Orange(Blue) and put them on every seat so on TV everyone has Orange on.

That is what practically every team does to get those color coordination on TV.

I mean I am sure they could get 45k tshirts for about 100,000-150,000dollars which is chump change for any school/sports team of which I am sure sponsorships could pay for all or portions of the cost.

Well SU is giving employees a free ticket with the option to buy others for $5, plus free tickets for kids. So, I'd guess they would need a corporate sponsor to step up for shirts because it's clear that tickets aren't selling for Randy's return.

Maybe Jacobs from Shirt World will step up.

I always assumed that the whoever was hosting the "(insert color)" out supplied the shirts. The what the NBA teams do.

More like $45,000. A lot less with a sponsor. Shirts are cheap.

I love my Alma Mater, but if they call for an Orange Out I have to label them as schizophrenic.

What's the equivalent for the Terps?
'Hey everybody - wear your ugliest red, black, yellow, and white checkered shirt!'

Yes, they have them and fans are pissed.

What do they look like and how do you know who is pissed?

They had a blackout during our game down there last year.

I still don't get why Nike created a grey uniform before creating an orange one. Our players will be in hopefully Orange helmets/Blue tops/Orange pants.

Its an Orange out and the players will have on the least orange.

"That will be $1,578,764.72, sir."

[as he shorts the order by several thousand shirts]
1.5 million for 45k orange shirts? That would be 33 dollars a shirt. I am sure your joking. The shirts would probably cost between 2-4 dollars with an order as large as 45,000. Which is why I said 100,000 to 150,000 dollars for the 45k orange shirts.

Alsacs, have you ever read any of the posts about Jacob's shady practices at his store? Seems like there's a big thread about that topic that gets posted every year or so. Each time, lots of people relay funny personal stories of having been overcharged throughout the years, having the merchandise posted as one low price on the rack but being charged different prices when they get up to the cash register, etc.

I was just being flip, making reference to those alleged tactics.

I wasn't being fresh I honestly didn't know that. No problem I thought you were joking because that price would have been really high. Yeah, I never bought from Holy Shirt or Jacobs. I bought from Manny's and that was overpriced as well.
