The Pit is average. Overpriced for what you get and much better bbq places in NC than the Pit.

You said you are working in Wilson. Try the original Parkers BBQ. Doesn't have the decor of the Pit but bbq is very good and much cheaper.

Oh I have been there, that is a good spot for lunch. I've also been to Bill's multiple times in Wilson. Can't beat the price of that place...10$ for all you can eat buffet. Crazy. So much sodium. I feel terrible after.
