Apple butter not sauce. Used to eat it as a kid in PA

Couple of years ago I tried bringing a jar of apple butter on a flight from Charlotte to Albany. Homeland Security was having none of it and confiscated on the spot. The terrorists have won.

Thanks, I am glad to see I've been a positive influence for a change. I didn't catch this in it's original run and I think im going to appreciate this, even though I've never been a big fan of apple sauce. Maybe I will become one after this.

Actuallly now you've made me recall the movie Butterfly Effect. Have you ever seen it? Who knew Ashton Kutcher could play a serious role that well.

I always make a batch of applesauce to go with our pork roast for Christmas dinner. I can't get good NY State apple varieties where I live, but I like to mix several kinds, leave it a little chunky, and serve it warm (along side of sauerkraut).
