OT: Bob Barker Died

No not that Bob Barker. Syracuse's Bob Barker the Hot Dog King. I have purchased a Hot Dog from him for over 25 years before EVERY SU football and basketball game I have attended at the Dome which I can't even begin to guess how many times that has been. He was always so nice and I got to know him and his wife a a little bit over all of those years. Very good people. He used to work at GE and retired from there in the 80's or so and grew the Hot Dog business into what it was after he left GE. It will be odd later this year to head up to the Dome and not see Bob standing outside cooking his hot dogs.

He truly was an iconic Syracuse figure and he will be missed. RIP!

So sorry to hear that. Very nice man. I saw cowboy Bob daily,downtown in his mobile hot dog wheelhouse. As friendly as they come. Godspeed Bob!
