I don't usually post things like this and will take the brunt of any complaints for "clogging up the board," however I was hoping to recruit some of the Syracusefan nation to vote for my father, Jim Hoover. He is one of 8 nationwide finalists for the USA Today HS coach of the year. Of course it is just a popularity contest, but still would be cool for him to have a good showing. He has been coaching at the same high school (Walton) for close to 40 years and is 2 wins away from 300. When he reaches that milestone he will be one of only 5 coaches in NYS to have 300+ wins.

About 1% behind 3rd place. I was off the last 2 days so only got a few votes in (sucks voting via phone) but if a few others feel like voting today we can grab a podium finish for Coach Hoover!

How do you find total votes without actually voting for the other guy?
