OT: Father in the running for COY

103k with a .3 lead on #4.

Put in some work last night and this am. Slacked at work at the end of the week because of travel

The athletic department of the winning coach will receive $2,000. Second through fifth places also receive cash prizes for the athletic departments: second ($1,000), third ($500), fourth ($250) and fifth ($100). All eight finalists receive banners for their schools.

dammmmmm.

we are only 261,000 behind 2nd. place.

time to call the NSA and get their super computer up and running

Actually either of my sons know how to up the votes by automatically setting c0mputers to vote. But I don't think we want to cheat. And I think Gannett is savvy enough to pick that sort of thing up anyways.

I noticed they started voting as soon as we got very close. It was interesting cause no one on their side was voting as we went along, and then all of a sudden they started at what must have been 1am or 2am their time.

in less than 48 hours we gained 26,200 votes over B.

THOSE CAJUN'S ARE PARTYING UP LATELY

Someone did some heavy lifting in the middle of the night last night.

I'm on west coast time. I did till we got the lead and then a bit more. It was about 2am on the east coast. There were others on with me. Then the people voting for the guy who we just passed must have woken up cause they started voting.

I just did some more, but was the only one voting.

Still solid in 3rd place but down to 14,000 between him and B. Do I smell a swamp rat. ;)Remember that this doesn't end until Tuesday noon.

we were down 15,000 and got up to a 11,000 vote lead is how I got the 26,000 change in votes so if we are 14,000 it is still growing:)

LOL. I was wondering about that as we were around 98,000 yesterday morning. That's still amazing that we are over 114,000 today.

what's really amazing that "b" only got two votes in 8 hours and just guess how he got those votes

Still holding on to third. First and second are going back and forth. One day fourteen hours and then we can return to our "normal" daily routines :)

we have a 21,000 vote lead on 3rd place.

but how in the world did second place gain over 125,000 votes down overnight to now lead.

I started voting again, but when I stopped last time Mr. Hoover had around 8.5% of the vote he is still in 3rd place but only has 6.257% the voting contest between D and G is epic.

It's depressing while I have been voting for the last day, not only has our % in total (because of the voting war between D and G) decreased but so has our lead over Coach B. We are losing steam. :(

I checked last night and we were up by about 15,000 and just a little while ago it increased to over 21,000 votes, but due to the massive vote totals going on between 1 and 2 our % has gone down. no big deal over that

The gap between B and C has been shrinking its down to barely a little over 1%. I think we can hold off B but will need a solid showing for the next day to do so. The percentage is down because of Maryland vs Kentucky war and comments from the Kentucky people are making me want to see Maryland guy to hold on, but I think we can hold the bronze and podium spot.

1% is probably 20k+ votes at this point. Ive been keeping tabs but massivly busy at work today. If it gets under 1% I'll try and get back to it though.

Using my math skills, granted I have an English degree from SU and teach English so my math reasoning may be off, I believe currently one percent is equal to about 23,000 votes. So even though we are losing percentage points the lead over 4th place is rather large. Of course, we saw how quickly we were able to make up 20k votes, so don't stop voting :)
