This is the first good team Hurley has ever had at UConn. He’s done jack there.

Let’s wait and see if they get bounced by a 15 seed with him getting tossed out, before we anoint him. He’s had 2 good months in 5 years there.

I am personally not optimistic about SU basketball life post-JB. The new landscape will make it increasingly difficult to recruit to CNY, and the really good coaches will go where the money is, and that is not CNY. I hope to be wrong.

It will be football program 2.0 after Jimmy retires. Boeheim has taken a home town discount coaching this team the last few decades. Will the university pay up for a great young coach? Doubt it.
