OT: Surreal

To put things into perspective, last snow season I kept track everytime I used my new Arien's.

On January the 27th in 2011 I removed snow for the twenty-second time. I also removed snow from my roof 21 times to that point.

This year I have not needed to use the snowthrower once and took snow off the roof one time.

The last date we got removable snow last year was March 7, which for me was the 30th and final time I used the machine.

March 7th is 39 days away but we have seen snow in the past well beyond that date.

Like you said man, surreal!

Every year I pay for the plow, light winter. Every year I don't, like last year, tons.

That's why when someone asks my dad if they should do per-plow or contract, he tells them you're probably gonna end up screwed either way haha

Next year, I will pay you to pay the plow.

How do you get the snow blower onto the roof?

For sure, thanks for the support! The good folks at syracusefan.com have always been good to me when I'm deployed.

I take it you're in the service? Who are you with? Always great to hear from a brother in arms who loves the cuse!

6 years active (drum, Huachuca, sill) and nasty guard for the last few years. Never seen what's happening to the military now, especially the way the guard's been jerked around the past 4 mos or so. C'e la vie though, still proud to serve! Hope youre out of wainwright soon enough!

I love it here man.. Army's best kept secret... It's a little relaxed for my taste.. Guys in the PX in PTs, walking with their phones, parade rest doesn't exist for most units.. I squared my guys away quick as ..I like to have a good time, but these guys gotta realize they are in the army..
