OT: The Money is Flowing In (Across all Syracuse Athletic Programs)

Of course there is matching donations going on, etc. But it appears many of the athletic programs atleast early in the day on giving day are outperforming there 2025 giving day numbers!

The NIL infusion with GMAC and interest was real, SU wasn't blowing smoke. I also think it's clear they still had reservations which is why they pursued Schertz and apparently got close to reaching a deal.

I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but the leader in the clubhouse at 12pm noon is the Women's Basketball Coaches Fund at $111,749. Unless it was a glitch, I think one donor donated $100,000 on one individual donation, WOW. The most individual donors is Men's Basketball at 352 and well over there individual donor goal. Keep it up!

The NIL infusion with GMAC and interest was real, SU wasn't blowing smoke. I also think it's clear they still had reservations which is why they pursued Schertz and apparently got close to reaching a deal.

Just as it is suspected that Scherz entertained going to Syracuse to entice STL to up their offer, I suspect SU made overtures to Scherz to motivate GMAC to get serious about SU. Although I'm sure SU would have happy with Scherz. "The Art Of The Deal".

From what I know SU and Schertz were serious but as I noted a few days ago it was always gonna be a heavy lift. Think it would have been a great fit.

We need Amazon to add an NIL specific link like they do for non profits so every purchase a little can go to SU NIL….or something like that such as how Acorns works…
