Our fans are the best...

My daughter had Virginia Tech on her short list of colleges...luckily for her she chose William & Mary.

My little brother is a Junior in HS and is going to be looking at Georgia Tech, Clemson, Miami, Wake, and possibly a few other ACC schools. He's not a huge sports fan, but odds are whatever school he chooses is going to be playing SU a lot.

I just read the threads about our fans over there at Pack Pride and while some of the stuff they said about our fans was funny some of it was just plain idiotic. They have no idea of the facts in the Fine issue and it seems they think anyone from the north is a "guido". Were there lots of cuse fans with spray tans and hair sprayed hair?

Wonder if they referred to Coach Valvano as a "Guido and ignorant Yankee Trash" when he was alive?

I live in Alpharetta...its going to be the same way at Georgia Tech. I've seen SU gear at North Point Mall. There are literally thousands of ex-NYers that live here.
Thats awesome to hear from you and BlackKnight. Everyone I know is leaving Long Island because its too expensive here for us 20-somethings. Im doing ok but im actually entertaining the thought of moving down there myself. I know some people down there and they all love it. If I end up down there, best believe I will be part of the Cuse invasion of Georgia Tech and some ACC road trips.

It'll be tougher for Georgia Tech games than it was for the NC State game.
The "new" Georgia Tech arena will seat less than 9,000 while the RBC Center seats over 19,000.

One wonders if some ACC schools will go the Georgetown route in order to reduce the number of potential Orange fans that may invade their respective arenas.

If they are smart...they should move SU's game to a bigger arena and sell about 6000 tix to Cuse fans in the ATL
