Our most meaningful November game since…

I’d sat vs Lville in ‘12 to get to .500 (they were undefeated 10th) and then at Missouri.

If you are talking real stakes playing Miami for the BE title in 2001.

Going to Missouri in 2012 and getting that comeback win - #6 for the season - was huge.
Alec Lemon waltzing into the end zone with less than a minute left was just incredible.

When???
It wasn’t “our” stakes but our win over ND in “03 was part of an unlikely chain of events that vaulted LSU into the national title game and what turned into Saban’s first title. I remember getting high fives from lsu fans at the sec championship game in my syracuse jacket.

Alec Lemon is still running wiiiide open thru the Mizzou secondary.

I was there for that along with 32 other Syracuse fans that game. Cold night game, their stadium was under renovation and their students weren't on campus.

Oh the glory days when Doug Marrone had his dream job!

(on to Arrowhead the next day to watch the Bengals and when the Chiefs fans were flying a banner to fire Scott Pioli former Cuse grad assistant)

This game Saturday is absolutely massive for the trajectory of the program.

We’ve got a chance to show the college football world that Fran Brown is here and he is serious.

How anyone can not want to be in the Dome on Saturday is beyond me.

LETS GO ORANGE!

I have a nephew driving from Ottawa for this one. I warned him about the lake effect between Watertown and Syracuse on Friday. He said he didn’t care. He “needed “ to be here!

2012 team was much better than given credit for
Couldn’t agree more, that squad once healthy was absolutely a top-25 team, just dug themselves too big of a hole early in the year. Last month of the season plus bowl game was a lot of fun…

If we are talking about Dome games only meaningful for SU, then it is Pitt in 2021.

If we are talking about Dome games where it was meaningful for both teams, then it was Louisville in 2012.

If we are talking about Dome games with some national interest, then it was 1998 vs Miami.
