Pac 12

I posted this in a thread earlier:

I guess this is what happens when you have no real elite teams a bunch of decent teams and no crappy teams. I didn't really buy there seeding but I didn't watch a ton of Pac bball either. That said being overseeded is one thing but they are getting rocked as a conference. Cal(4) and OrSt(7) in trouble right now.
They have lost:
8 Col
6 AZ
8 USC

And obviously Oregon St. just lost. Cal is still trailing Hawaii but not by much.

I was in Hawaii last June & the news was reporting that Hawaii had self-imposed sanctions on itself in advance of NCAA findings. I was thinking - wow, the NCAA really does feast on the little guys! I had no idea they were this good of a program! They are banned from post-season next year. Too bad.

Cal getting every call........out of bounds when not out of bounds when a tie up is a foul so obvious the FBI needs to investigate. Refs trying their best to salvage a win for Cal.

Arizona when they are really good and Michigan State, otherwise I have won a ton of money winning brackets betting on the Big10 and Pac10 losing early in the tournament.

While over-seeded I do think Oregon would be a very legit 2/3 seed and is the clear class of the Pac12. Despite the rest of the conference sucking, I think Oregon can do well.

Based on KenPom, Utah and Cal are #7 seeds... not #3 and #4.

The fact that that weak conference got SEVEN bids was criminal. They should've gotten 4-5, per usual. Oregon State, USC and Colorado were not good. Arizona got a bad draw, and I thought they were a good team, but Cal was always destined to lose in round 1. I like this Oregon team, they are very talented, especially at forward, and have a great coach.

Oregon and Utah were legit all season. They both should make the 2nd weekend.

To be fair I think Cal was a legit 5 before today. But ya Utah a pk vs. Gonzaga tells you something (and unlike Seton Hall last night it's not a quasi road game).

I'm curious to hear why folks think the line in that game is a pick for such different seeds?

because vegas doesn't care about seeds

Gonzaga is big. That's what I was thinking before Atlantis.

Zags lost to TAMU in that tourney? I don't remember and am too lazy to look it up.
