I don't know why people are getting all worked up about this 'crootment. Either he comes here or not.

We're still all going to die someday.

Alone.

In our homes.

In isolation.

We’re all just water. :p

Honestly, if we don’t get him, I’ll be OK with that...

As long as Dook doesn’t get him instead.

The ONLY way that’d be OK, is if somehow, some way, CDB goes all Rony Seikaly to Tapé’s Dwayne Schintzus on him when we play them.

There were pictures of him in a Maryland uniform, so it looks like he visited there.

Believe this is correct, according to the interwebs, so at least they’re out of the picture it seems. Gotta figure that USC is a long shot now. Probably comes down to the Cuse, and OSU. I’d like to believe that Duke can’t swoop in late again, and steal another kid. They already have three bigs coming in, though some will be at the 4, and Tape would get a lot of run at the 5 with Carey presumably gone. Damn you, K. Can’t just let us have one.

Speak for yourself. I plan on going out surrounded by many. So my last words can be echoed on my tombstone. With my final breath, I’ll let it be known...that Georgetown still sucks.

I'd give big respect to someone that had that engraved on their headstone.

Looking at Tape's list, USC seems like the long shot, especially without chance for him to visit. Duke could use an experienced post player for a year, but got involved awfully late. Tape also grew up in a UNC family. He doesn't seem like a naive kid, like many before, who automatically swoons at a Coach K offer. OSU is a threat, mainly because of the Towns connection. But they have roster problems. Towns' commitment puts them at 14. Two guys still need to leave to have room for Tape. He said he'll wait 2-3 weeks before making a decision. That's ominous if you think he's waiting something out, but the Buckeyes won't get a visit.

SU was fortunate to get a visit, plus has an academic program in line with Tape's goals. Sidibe is here, but Tape would see plenty of time if he performs. Some of it could be at PF. Tape is also coming from an East Coast Ivy school. SU may suit him better than a giant Midwest state school that worships football. Our biggest downside is Hughes leaving. If Tape is convinced the team can be a factor next year, I like our chances.

Pretty sure OSU doesnt have an open scholly, USC just got a big in this class and really dont think Duke is a player here

We are in dire need of some good news. After this season and the virus.

Virus aside, you say this every year. I don’t know, maybe stop ignoring the good news?
Say what every year? Are we coming off a good season. Could we not use an impact transfer?

Remember that time he said we’d never beat duke and if we did he’d walk from North Carolina to Syracuse?

Where did I say the sky was falling? We just had a 14 loss season and lost 4 players. It's just being realistic. We need some help.
