Guess you missed the last month. When Sidibe actually got the ball he scored efficiently and effectively
Three years of ineptitude, vs one month of serviceable play

Sidibe came on hard at the end of the year.
Doesn’t mean I also don’t want Tapé, who happens to be the subject of this thread.

If you didn’t think he looked different we didn’t see the same games. He was finally healthy too.Three years of ineptitude, vs one month of serviceable play
We’d probably redshirt Edwards and JBA would get no PT. But Sidibe and Tape would be gone next year while JBA and Edwards will be sophomoresOur roster composition is completely out of whack.
Not saying this kid isn't good and won't help -- I think he could help at multiple positions (looks like he could play the wing, a la Rick Jackson or Rakeem Christmas).
As it stands now, we have as many centers as we do guards on the roster.

Also, Rak had a similar career path. You really don’t think players can IMPROVE?

First, it was the last month which shows where he is right now. Not two years ago. And the next time that Tape plays against the comp that Sidibe does every day, will be the first. I want Tape. He makes us a better team. but let's not get crazy either.Three years of ineptitude, vs one month of serviceable play
This started when you said Tape will be 3x better than someone who averaged 6/8 on 70% shooting; including almost a double double over the last month. If you think Tape is better, fine - but it’s not a significant difference and they’d be a great duoChristmas' leap was the single greatest I've seen of any college player, ever. To claim Sidibe has had a similar career path is insane. We can't confidently claim Sidibe has made a leap of any kind. He was surely better at the end of the season, that is indisputable
Sorry bossmanYou want to bash Sidibe? Do it on the main board. You want to talk about Rakeem? Do it on the main board. You want to talk about anything other than Tapé? Do it on the main board.

Looked Jeff Ermann up, he's a Maryland guy. Anybody know if he's got any credibility?

Yes. It leads to thread derailment. Take it to the main board. Is it so out of line to mention other big men when discussing the potential addition of another?

There's a give-and-tape in every recruitment! If he flips from Duke to Syracuse, would that make him "Double Sided Tape?"

Not like he needs the moneyApparently there’s some rumblings that Vernon Carey might be coming back hence making this flip occur and not allowing a spot for Tape ...
Lol, I’d be shocked why he would come back with This weak of a draft but I’m sure Tape didn’t wanna wait around for that decision If he was wavering...Not like he needs the money
