Franklin has only been a head coach at Vanderbilt. How does he come up short? I would say he has a short snapshot to look at.

I will give the guy credit. He is taking his staff down to Georgia partner with Georgia State at their football camp. They are guest coaches, so they can look at Georgia talent that they otherwise could not see in that environment unless the players camped at PSU.

He recruited well all 3 years but was outcoached in the Missouri and Ole Miss games this season. As far as talent goes, Vandy was just as good if not better on paper. He can recruit but the jury is out on whether he can beat elite opponents. I hope he struggles against Ohio State and Michigan and the insane Joe Pa worshipers run him out of town.
